L’immigration • - 98% des canadiens sont les immigrants (descendants) • - on est une société multiculturelle, une mélange des groupes ethniques • - 200 000 immigrants arrivent chaque année • Raisons pour l’immigration: • ⇨ climat - ex: on cherche un pays chaud après la retraite • ⇨ dangers- révolution, guerre, réfugié politique • ⇨ économique – nouveauemploi, impôts (taxes), meilleure vie • ⇨famille – les décès, les mariages, les enfants • Facteur de répulsion - pousse quelqu’un à quitter un pays • Facteur d’attraction - attire quelqu’un vers un pays • Où les immigrants s’établissent: • - en Ontario , C. B., Québec et Alberta • - dans les grandes villes (Toronto, Vancouver et Montréal) à cause des fortes concentrations des groupes culturels (produits et services familiers)
