Purpose Support foundation skills development: • packaged into vocational qualifications • stand-alone pathways into vocational training • tailored pathways into specific vocational areas. ‘Mixing and matching’ to suit individual needs.
FSTP contents • Bank of units • Skill Set/s • Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways • Certificate I in Vocational Preparation and Pathways • Certificate II in Preparation for Work and Vocational Pathways.
Companion Volume/s Contents: • training package scope and purpose • guidance on contextualising for vocational requirements • selection of vocational electives • recommended delivery approaches • using holistic assessment • accessing advice and expertise.
Progress • Development underway • NSW TAFE – endorsed component • TAFE SA – companion volume/s • Input from key stakeholders • Draft material available in April.
