  2. CENTRALITY OF ARABIA The Arabian Peninsula is located exactly in the centre of the dry land of the globe. This central position ensure the spreading of Islam during the Prophet’s time. For example, imagine a dark room that need to be lit by a single kerosene lamp. If the lamp is place in any of the corner, the light will not be able to enlighten the entire room. However, if it is put in the middle of the room, there is a possibility that the entire room will be enlighten. This theory works the same for Islam.

  3. ABRAHAM’S PRAYER TO ALLAH Allah loved Abraham very much because of the sacrifices that he had made in order to carry out Allah’s mission. When he prayed to Allah after the construction of Ka’bah, Allah granted all his wishes. One of his wishes is to raise a prophet from among the Arabs. His wish was granted even though it was a bit different in form and time. He asked Allah to send a messenger among Arabs and Allah willed to send the Last Prophet (PBUH) in the Arab land.

  4. Prophet Abraham prayed to Allah around 1500 years which means that he wanted his appeal to be accepted sometime very close to his time. However, Allah granted the wish around 2000 years later. The time gap between Prophet Abraham and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was 2000 years. Allah also promised to privilege Prophet Abraham’s offspring with the leadership position. “And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [ Allah ] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [ Allah ] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers." (2:124)

  5. Prophet Abraham had two sons, Prophet Ishmael and Prophet Issac. Through his second son, there were raised a number of Prophet consecutively one after another until Prophet Jesus was born. But the children of Abraham through his first son had remained deprived from that privilege. By raising the Last Prophet (PBUH) from the family of Ishmael, Allah had fulfilled His promise. The family of Prophet Ishmael settled in the Arabian Peninsula. Thus, in order to raised Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from among Prophet Abraham’s family through the first son, Arabia Peninsula was selected.
