  4. Bake Sale Our FIRST Bake Sale You can: Bake or sit, or both This counts as a requirement It’s Valentine’s Day themed** When: Tuesday February 14th, 2012 from 10am-3pm

  5. Good Knight Rape Awareness UIC Crime Alert last week*** Please remember to be aware of your surroundings, especially when walking by yourself to places on campus. Have a friend walk you to your dorm/car/apartment. Always make sure that your cell phone is charged in case of an emergency. We can only have 8 volunteers from our organization. Takes place Friday March 9th, 2012 at 3pm $12 for the GK shirt. Volunteers talk to our Liaison, Steve Le

  7. Shamrock Shuffle When: Sunday March 25th, 2012 at 5:45am-10:30am We need 25 volunteers! We will be helping direct traffic, answering questions, etc.

  8. Food Drive** We will be collecting canned goods throughout the semester. You can text any of us and we can pick them up from you if you have a lot. Bring them to every meeting that we have! These will be donated to a homeless shelter The person who brings the MOST canned goods, will get a $25 gift card to target **Ongoing project: feel free to ask your other organizations to gather food from– they will be counted towards your food brought

  10. Pre-Med Students (and others interested) Very Important!! Please make sure that you put your email on the sign-in sheet! SNMA (Student National Medical Association) wants to talk to you! We have been talking to representatives from SNMA and they will be coming for a future meeting!

  11. Pre-Dental Students Each year during the Chicago Dental Society's Mid-Winter Meeting a mini-conference is held for pre-dental students. 

This years conference will be on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the McCormick Place Mentor Meeting Place in Skyline Ballroom E, Level 3.

Students can take CTA transportation to McCormick Place from UIC's campus. For more information or to RSVP, contact Braulia Espinosa at bespin1@uic.edu or Carolyn Feller at cfeller@uic.edu.
