  1. Overview: Throughout this course I learned to be proficient in a variety of computer programs needing computational and analytical skills, while also learning basic computer programming skills. Creation of Basic WebPages Using HTML Format Information Presentation in Word and PowerPoint CSE 3: Fluency with Information Technology • Using HTML formatting in the program Notepad++, I learned how to Create • Basic Web Pages. • Once the Web Pages were made, I learned how to put them online for the • whole world to see using the Secure File Transfer Program(SSH Secure Shell) • I created a homepage for me to use currently, and in the future. (Top Right) • I put all my other projects online and linked them all to my homepage. • Before this class I was fluent in these • programs, but with the older • versions. • In this class I learned the how to use • the new versions, where I learned a • variety of new tricks and tools that I • didn’t know were possible before. • These programs are good for turning • words, data and processes into • presentations Image Manipulation and Analysis with Photoshop Virtual Programming with Scratch • Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2009 • I learned many new tricks and • tools for manipulating pictures • and images in Photoshop (as • seen here in the Madonna • Image). • We also created videos from • different layers and images in • Photoshop • I also learned how to hide a • secret message in Photoshop • I learned many new tricks and • tools for manipulating pictures • and images in Photoshop (as • seen here in the Madonna • Image). • We also created videos from • different layers and images in • Photoshop • I also learned how to hide a • secret message in Photoshop • Microsoft Office Word 2007 Visualization of Analyzed Data with Excel • I learned how to manipulate dada from charts and points and turn them into other forms in the programs Excel (seen on right). • I also learned to create a game (ie: Tic Tac Toe on right) with other tools in the Excel program
