  5. REFLECT EXISTING PRACTICE • THE GUIDING PRINCIPLE OF THE CARRAIG MÓR CARE PLAN • WAS TO RECORD EXISTING GOOD PRACTICE ON THE UNIT.

  6. PROMOTE COLLABORATIVE CARE PLANNING • TO INVOLVE PATIENTS IN THEIR OWN CARE • TO SUPPORT PATIENTS WITH GOAL SETTING • ALLOWS PATIENTS TO ASSESS WHAT STAFF CAN OFFER TOWARDS THEIR RECOVERY • ALLOWS PATIENTS TO ASSIST IN THEIR OWN CARE PLANNING
