What is the project about? • Objectives: • Raise awareness across the EU and beyond about the importance and severity of Cyberbullying; • Exchange existing good practices and encourage cooperation among stakeholders in different Member States; • Develop awareness raising tools and material for teenagers, parents and teachers; • Issue policy recommendations.
1) European Conference Against Cyberbullying in Madrid • Over 50 experts from across the EU attended the conference in May 2013. • The entire conference was webstreamed and is available online. http://www.youtube.com/user/coface2010
2) Awareness raising video • A two minutes video about cyberbullying, available in 9 languages. • A less « negative » video (no violence, traumatising or scary images…) • Over 40.000 views on the English version. http://www.youtube.com/user/DeleteCyberbullying1
3) The « Big March » • A virtual online demonstration to raise awareness about cyberbullying and issue recommendations to policy makers. • The « Big March » website launched on the 20th of February and the actual « March » will take place in June. http://bigmarch.beatbullying.org/
4) The #DeleteCyberbullying App • An app for Teenagers, Teachers and Parents. • Featuring two different quizzes: • A quiz redirecting the user to resources based on his/her profile after a set of questions (redirecting a victim to a helpline); • A quiz to test the user’s knowledge about cyberbullying and online safety in general with the possibility to share the score online via Facebook. • A button « I need help » to get help immediatly; • The possibility to view the awareness raising video; • The app will be available in June 2014 at the closing event of the #DeleteCyberbullying project.
