  1. Marc Benioff of Salesforce Chosen the CNN Business CEO 2020 December 23, New York: 2020 has been one of the challenging years so far in recent times. Needless to say, corporate America has been an exception. However, even amidst such trying times, few companies including high-profile ones have not only carried on with their regular business but also thrived. Salesforce is definitely among these that’s worth mentioning. Choosing Marc Benioff of Salesforce, the company had a truly standout year. Salesforce Acquired Slack The pioneers in CRM, Salesforce made its place in the venerable Dow Jones Industrial Average in August. At the beginning of this month (December 2020), the cloud-computing company acquired Slack and continued to register strong gains in earnings, stock prices as well as sales. Salesforce’s share prices went up by nearly 40 percent. On the other hand, the corporate remained a winner of social causes including promoting racial and gender equality. It also lent great help in supporting the homeless, helped businesses and workers who were struggling during the pandemic.
