  1. Missouri May See New Laws Regarding Texting And Driving

  2. Did you know that Missouri is one of the only states that does not have a ban on texting for all drivers? Right now, if you are over 21-years-old, you can text and drive and not get a ticket. However, that may change this year. The Missouri Department of Transportation partnered with AT&T and learned that 9 out of every 10 drivers uses some kind of electronic device while driving.

  3. The State Statistics The Missouri State Highway Patrol Statistical Analysis Center does a good job in keeping track of vehicle crashes across the state. For the latest reporting year, we know that there were: Brain injuries Broken and dislocated bones Internal bleeding or organ damage Severe lacerations Spinal cord injuries

  4. What About Other Injuries Not only do these injuries require extensive emergency care, but a victim may also need long-term rehabilitation in order to make a full recovery. This only increases the overall costs. If another person has caused your accident, their insurance should cover all of your expenses, right? Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Insurance companies often put up a fight when it comes to offering a settlement that will cover all of a person’s expenses.
