Tourism is big business. What effect does it have on the environment? Moving people and goods from place to place. How might traffic change in the future? The big picture. How can images from space help us plan for the future? Natural forces are immensely powerful. Why do volcanoes happen in some places and not in others? Rainforests are under threat. What will happen to our climate if they are destroyed?

  5. MEG Syllabus B-What you will study • 4 Units • Climate,the environment and people. • Water,landforms and people. • People and place. • People,work and development. • Within each of the units you will study case studies from the UK,the EU and Developed and Less Developed countries.

  6. ASSESSMENT • EXAMINATION – 75% (2 PAPERS) • COURSEWORK – 25% there are 2 pieces of coursework a cross unit task mainly completed in class(10%) and Fieldwork and the follow up project(15%).
