History • 1926 Guiding started in Mauritius • 1929 Mrs Parkin became first island commissioner • 1943 Island council formed • 1964 Olave Baden Powell World Chief Guide visited us • 1975 MGGAbecame an Associate Member of WAGGGS • 1976 MGGA held the Golden Jubilee Camp • 1981 MGGA became a Full Member of WAGGGS
