His Route Francisco Vasquez de Coronado was born in Salamanca , Spain but sailed to New Spain (now Mexico).He headed an expedition that started in Spain and they sailed to New Spain and used horses to find southwest America and at the time was called “The New Land”. The new land was really New Mexico , Arizona , Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas

FAMILY HISTORY Francisco was not the oldest child in his family so when his dad got old and sick he did not get all of the money that his dad had because he was not the oldest , but his brother got all of the money because he was the oldest. Francisco had always wondered if there were other worlds or lands that had never been discovered or never existed.

  5. FUN FACTS ABOUT FRANCISCO He was the youngest child in his family His brother never liked him from childhood to adulthood A lot of people doubted him when he said he would find a new land and he used that as motivation
