Day 1-Jamestown and Yorktown 6:00am Buses arrive at school 6:30am Buses depart school 10:00am Buses cross the James River on the Scotland – Jamestown Ferry 10:30pmPicnic lunch (brought from home) at picnic area 11:30am Guided tour of Jamestown Settlement 2:30pm Buses travel down the Colonial Parkway to Yorktown 3:00pm Guided tour of Yorktown Victory Center 5:30pm Dinner: Golden Corral (included) 9:30pm Check into hotel: Comfort Inn Herndon

  4. JAMESTOWNSettlement *Board Replica Ships that Sailed from England to Virginia in 1607 *Try on Armor in a recreated fort. *Grind corn & play games like Pocahontas

  5. YORKTOWNVictory Center *Continental Army Encampment *1780’s Farm

  6. Day 2 • 6:00am Continental breakfast at hotel (included). Buses depart at 7:30am. • 8:15am Group photo in front of the White House • 9:30am Visit historic Ford’s Theatre (*) and Peterson House area for photos & • souvenir shopping • 11:00am Smithsonian Museums: Museum of Natural History (lunch included) • National Air & Space Museum , National Archives (optional) • 2:30pm Visit the MLK, FDR and Jefferson Memorials • 3:30pm Visit the Lincoln, Vietnam Veterans, Korean, and World War II Memorials • 6:00pm Dinner and shopping at Pentagon City Mall (included) • 8:00pm Return to hotel

Day 3 • 6:00am Continental breakfast (Included) and check out of hotel. • Buses depart at 7:30am. • 8:15am Arlington National Cemetery: Changing of the Guard at Tomb of the • Unknown Soldier, JFK Grave and Eternal Flame, wreath laying (*) • 10:30am View/Discuss: Library of Congress and Supreme Court Building • 11:45am Lunch: US Capitol Restaurant (included) • 1:00pm Guided tour of US Capitol (*) • 2:30pm Depart Washington; fast food dinner in route (included) (exit 126 • Fredericksburg VA) • 7:00pm Approximate arrival at Durant Road Elementary School
