  6. Feature Detection • The theory that certain nerve cells in the brain, called feature detectors, receive specific signals in the brain. • That is, there are specific cells that process horizontal lines, vertical lines, motion, posture, emotion. • Allows instant analysis

  7. Color .The retina containsthree different colorreceptors: red, green,and blue. Theycombine to form allperceptible colors.
