  1. Jimmy the Baseball Player By Jimmy Doolittle

  2. Jimmy was a bad first baseman that loved to play baseball.

  3. Jimmy was told by Coach Taylor that he would never play first base for him. So he had him go and try to be a pitcher.

  4. Jimmy went to the bullpen and went to work. He never put so much time into practicing his new position.

  5. After months of work, Jimmy has made barely any progress and was starting to feel sad.

  6. Then Jimmy really started to work hard. Eventually, Jimmy becomes good enough to pitch for Coach Taylor.

  7. Marshall the scout for Marshall University told Jimmy that he is good enough to play for his college

  8. Jimmy gets good enough to start to get major league scouts looking at him. “You have got a lot of talent,” said the scout to Jimmy. Real Ending Alternate Ending

  9. Jimmy gets drafted into the Major League and plays baseball for the next fifty years. Go back to page 8

  10. Jimmy suffers a career ending fingernail fracture and goes into a coma for the next fifty years. Go back to page 8

  11. Moral of the story: Work hard what you love and the results will come.
