READ: ISAIAH 26:1-4 A SONG OF SALVATION 1 In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: "We have a strong city; God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks. 2 Open the gates, That the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in. 3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. 4 Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.

WHAT IS THIS ‘STRONG CITY’? READ: PSALMS 48:1-3 1 Great is the LORD and Greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in His holy mountain. 2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. 3 God is in her palaces. He is known as her refuge.

The Lamb is its light. 24 The nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day. For There shall be no night there. 26 They shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. 27 There shall by no means enter it anything that defiles or causes an abomination or a lie. But Only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. NKJV

THE LORD? READ: DEUTERONOMY 32:4 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect. All His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice. Righteous and upright is He. READ: 1 SAMUEL 2:3 3 Talk no more so very proudly and Let no arrogance come from your mouth. For the LORD is the God of knowledge and by Him actions are weighed. Consider what great things He has done for you. 25 If You still do wickedly, You shall be swept away, both you and your king. NKJV

For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and He sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” NKJV WHAT DID THE LORD SAY TO THE JEWS? READ: JOHN 5:37-38 37 The Father Himself, Who sent Me, Has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time Nor seen His form. 38 You do not have His word abiding in you Because Whom He sent, Him you do not believe. NKJV

READ: ROMANS 2:4 4 Do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance and longsuffering, Not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? WHAT DID THE PETER CONCERNING THE LORD? READ: 2 PETER 3:9 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, But is longsuffering toward us, Not willing that any should perish But that all should come to repentance. NKJV

READ: PSALMS 10:3-4 3 The wicked boasts of his heart's desire. He blesses the greedy and renounces the LORD. 4 The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God. God is in none of his thoughts. But the dead know nothing and they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished. Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun. NKJV
