  2. Introduction Today we are giants protecting our castle from outside intruders. In order to keep them out we must strengthen our wall with bricks. No ordinary bricks will do. Our bricks must contain a magic letter that increases our strength every time we speak them. These words all begin with the letter “Ff”.

  3. In order to build our fortress our bricks must be strong. Today in class we will practice the proper mouth position to use when making the “Ff” sound. • We will begin a new tongue twister as practice for our new sound today and race to see how fast it can be said • We will also continue working on our writing skills by completing a note to our parents and use our very best printing to sign our name to our notes. • Finally, we will identify what work needs to be completed tonight and give examples of pictures that begin with the letter “Ff”. Everyone will complete a magic brick tonight at home so we can build our fortress tomorrow Task

  4. Process Today: Start - We will review the letter “Ff” while in computer lab Middle - We will check-in with “Henry” and make sure our mouths match his so we can practice our new sound correctly Finish - We will have a contest to see who can say our tongue twister the fastest. Before We Go Home: 1st -We will print and complete our notes home to mom and dad asking for help tonight 2nd -We will pack our glue sticks and safety scissors to take home so we can complete our magic bricks 3rd- We will ask questions in case we do not understand.
