Membership Info • Active Membership • 4 meetings 2 Events (Only one Fundraiser counts as event i.e. Yogurtland, Panda etc.) • If you cannot attend meetings • 4 events (Only one Fundraiser will count as an event) • $15 dollars for membership dues (Go on apps-sdsu.com) Fill out form. Covers both semesters • Pay treasurer (Ryan Ferris) or President (Jeremy Borbon)

  3. Pre-Professional Health Mixer (Recap) • Saturday, October 5th @ Mission Beach. • Clubs: AED, AMSA, APPS, Flying Samaritans, Focus, PASA, and PBA. • 44 people attended! • Had BBQ, an ice breaker, a trivia game, a raffle, and great prizes.

  4. Upcoming Academic Events 1. College of Sciences Annual Meet & Greet • Wednesday, Oct. 9th from 1-2 PM • Where: CSL 2nd floor Patio (behind GMCS) • Come and meet SDSU professors, staff members, other great organizations, and fellow science students. • Great way to learn more about research opportunities. *This event does not satisfy the requirements for active membership.

  5. Upcoming Academic Events 2. Tour of Scripps Research Institute: • Wednesday 10/9/13 @ 3PM • Meet in front of dome facing east commons @ 2PM for carpool. We leave at 2:15PM • If driving, arrive no later than 2:45 • UCSF Admission Presentation • When: Tuesday, 10/8/13 @ 6:PM • Where: in Social Media Center Room 63 • Midwestern University Admission Presentation • When: Wedneday 10/9/13 @5 PM • Where: In Social Media Center Room 63

Kindergarten Volunteering Kindergarten Volunteering • 2 hours minimum for event credit • Lexington Elementary School – Ms. Freeburn’s Class – Room 25 • Hours: M-W 8am to 2pm; Th-F 8am to 12pm • No need for appointment • Get name tag at front office • Bring back to APPS: Name, Date,Time in/out Ms. Freeburn’s signature

  9. Fundraisers 1. Restaurant Mixer with Pharm Students • October 26th/ Location TBA 2. Bracelets • Each Member sells 5 bracelets • Gets 1 event credit 3. T-Shirts • $15 Dollars each 4. Panda Express • Nov 14th from 12-7 @East Commons (Keep your receipt and turn into Fundraising Chair)

  10. Fundraisers 5. Bingo Night! • When? November 21st • Where? TBA • $5 per bingo matt • Prizes will be awarded to winners!
