  1. The Life Cycle of a Fairy Shrimp By: Bryce Woodward

  2. Eggs • A Fairy shrimp has 3 stages. The first cycle is when the male and the female mate and make eggs. The male swims with the female till he dies. The female swims till the eggs fall off her back. The female then dies in minutes. One little fairy shrimp can be carry to other ponds from animals. The female carry’s 10-170 eggs. The eggs lay at the bottom of the pond for 6 weeks then it becomes nimbs. The egg is smaller than your own thumb.

  3. Naphious The instar swims in the water while looking for food. In about 2 weeks the shrimp is a full grown adult. While the Fairy Shrimp swims around he looks for something to hide under for cover from predators.

  4. Adult The adult Fairy shrimp swims to find a female to mate with. After they find female to mate with the female will die. The female will carry the eggs on her back for 5 days but then she dies in a few days.

  6. Interesting Facts The Fairy Shrimp has some little tiny hair on the back of his back. It help it swim in the ponds or the oceans.
