  2. Yearbook & Dedications Due: March 27th • Yearbooks cost $30 • Yearbook Dedications – • 1/8 page cost $20.00 • ¼ page cost $50.00 • ½ page cost $100

  3. State CST Testing • Science only • April 7- April 11 • Attendance is very important • Arrive to school on time • Get plenty of rest • Eat a healthy breakfast full of protein • Donations of healthy snacks welcome • CST Released Questions http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/sr/css05rtq.asp

  5. Sixth Grade Math Placement 2 Exams will be given in May. 6th grade counselors place students based upon placement exam score, standardized test scores and report card grades. Middle school will contact you regarding placement. Questions regarding placement can be discussed with middle school counselors in the fall.

Human Growth and Development • May 9th Growth and Development Parent preview tonight at the end of this presentation • Boys will be taught by Mr. Schiltz & Mr. Veneracion • Girls will be taught by Mrs. Wendland, Mrs. Arellanez, Mrs. Noelte. • Lesson covers body changes and hygiene. • Video can be previewed by parents tonight after this presentation. • Permission slips will be sent home, and must be returned completed to participate.

  7. Last Trimester Expectations • CJ Morris Expectations: Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible • Homework / Classwork completed and turned in on time. • Positive behavior in and out of the classroom. • Uniform dress throughout the year (unless otherwise specified)

Fifth Grade Party • May 28th Year End Festivities Dressy Attire (no strapless or spaghetti straps) Awards assembly @9:30am Reception @ 10:15 am 5thgrade party @12:40 pm (5th grade or uniform shirt and shorts) • Parent helpers needed to organize • Party set up 10:30-11:40 am • Party clean up 2:00-3:00 pm • Past parties included games & crafts • Donations welcome

  11. Last Day of School May 29, 12:00 dismissal 5th Grade Red Carpet Walk Parents must wait outside the gate Please save balloons and flowers, etc for home You are welcome to take pictures/video Bring Kleenex!

  12. Don’t Forget! • The district has 3 more budget reduction days for this school year • There will be no school on these future days Friday, March 28 Friday, April 18 Friday, May 23 Mark your calendars!
