Chaperone Duties and Responsibilities • Supervise assigned group on bus, at rest areas, and restaurants while traveling • Make sure that students abide by the daily schedule (wake up and lights out) • Escort students on Disney transportation from hotel to park and between parks • Make sure that students have park tickets and food money/coupons for the day

Chaperone Duties and Responsibilities • Assist with loading and unloading luggage from bus • Set check-in time schedule for students while in park (up to chaperone discretion as to whether 7th graders stay with chaperones) • Report discipline problems or concerns to Mrs. Bishop. Mrs. Bishop is the only person authorized on this trip to deal with discipline issues.

Thursday, April 26, 2012 • 11:45pm (4/25) Students may arrive at CMS: report to gym • 1;45am Busses depart from CMS bus lanes • 7:30am Arrive at Cracker Barrel, Valdosta • 12:30pm Arrive at Saratoga Springs Resort • 1:30pm Mixed Chorus Performance • 2:30pm Advanced Chorus Performance • 3:15pm Check in to hotel, meet up with groups and GO PLAY! • 1:00am Curfew**

23. Friday, April 27, 2012 • Free day in parks! • Curfew is one hour after last park closes

24. Saturday, April 29, 2012 • Free day in parks • 8:15pm Awards Ceremony in the Lights, Motors, Action Studio (Car Stunt Stadium) Hollywood Studios) REQUIRED! • Curfew 1 Hour after last park closes

25. Sunday, April 29, 2012 • 7:30 AM- wake up and breakfast! • 8:30 AM- load buses- final room check by chaperones • 9:15 AM- depart Orlando • 11:15 PM- lunch at Cici’s pizza in Gainesville, FL • 6:15 PM- students arrive at CMS to unload

42. Trip Rules and Consequences • This is a school trip. As such, students are governed by all school rules and requirements. Any student that violates a school rule will face disciplinary action in Orlando and when we return to school. • All rules are available on my website. You need to review these with your child before we leave on Thursday. • Address with your child the importance of good behavior. This is a reward trip for all of the hard work the students do every day. It only takes one student making a poor decision to potentially keep us from having any trips in the future.

44. Trip Rules and Consequences • If a student decides to violate school rules, they can be subject to: • Loss of time in parks • Points being deducted from their agendas • Office referral when we return to school • A parent will be called to come and pick up their child.

45. Bus rules • Remain seated unless you are going to the bathroom • No changing seats. Sit in your assigned seat. • Only water. No soda, etc allowed. • Snacks are permissible. • Trash will be put in the trash bags and not on the floor.

46. Bus rules • Your iPod must have earphones! • Parents, Please check what your kids are bringing on any portable media devices. • The buses are equipped with DVD players. All movies selections must be submitted to me by tomorrow. No language, adult situations, etc. • In other words, rated G.

47. Bus rules • No yelling, singing, tapping on seat backs, stomping feet, or any other activity that would annoy someone. (if you are doing this, I hope you like sitting with one of the chaperones the rest of the trip.)

48. BUS RULES • CHAPEONES WILL ENFORCE QUIET TIME ON EACH BUS FROM 12:45AM UNTIL WE ARRIVE FOR BREAKFAST. • IF YOU ARE DISTURBING THOSE WHO WISH TO SLEEP, STUDENTS MAY LOSE UP TO 2 HOURS OF PARK TIME. • YOU ARE GETTING SLEEPY… VERY VERY SLEEPY…. (SNORE, SNORE)

Dress Code for Trip • Men- • Attire needs to be suitable for a family theme park (you are not with the plumbers union, keep your pants around your waist) • Ladies- • Attire needs to be suitable for a family theme park • Bathing suits should keep all bits and pieces covered • Bathing Suit Tops may be worn under shirts in the park

50. Footwear • Comfortable shoes for walking • Shoes that you don’t mind getting wet • A second pair of shoes to use if your first pair gets wet • Black shoes for concert • Please don’t bring your smelly, grass cutting shoes, guys!
