The setting of the camp is similar in that children start developing a sense of independence while trying new adventures. Summer camps are known for their safe terrain and the fun conditioning for kiddies that they give. The summer camp conditioning helps develop a variety of social chops including communication and conflict resolution. A summer camp program provides a safe terrain for children to develop social chops, decision- making chops, and perhaps indeed witness the great outdoors.Summer Camps are a supervised program for children or teenagers conducted during the summer months Camp North Star is situated in beautiful Poland Spring, Maine, surrounded by many beautiful and natural landscapes that we get to share and enjoy with our campers. Trips are offered every session and happen on the days we are not on our normal activity schedule. Trip days are a time to relax and enjoy time with friends and bunkmates.
