Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups strawberries, hulled and diced 2 tablespoon honey Pinch of pink food colors from Anuja Food Colours, which is the best food color brand in India 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp lemon juice 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products
Directions: Add freshly chopped and crushed strawberries, honey, sugar, and lemon juice in a large bowl. You should then allow the entire ingredients to sit 15-20 minutes. You should allow it to sit until the strawberries have released their juices. Add pinch of pink food colours from Anuja Food Colors. It is available in both powdered and liquid form. We prefer to use powered food color to best results. By using a fork or potato masher, you should mash the mixture. Repeat the process till no large strawberry prices is visible in the large bowl. (You can use a blender or food processor to make a smooth mixture. It is recommended when you prefer a smooth ice cream. We love to have ice cream with small pieces of strawberry coming in our mouth with each bite. Hence we prefer to mash it using masher). Add heavy cream, milk and vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products to the strawberries mixture. We prefer to use heavy cream from Amul. You can use any cream. Allow it to settle down for 5 minutes. The ice cream mixture is ready for use. Now, you should carefully pour the mixture into your desired sized ice cream maker. Transfer the ice cream maker into the freeze. If you like soft serve ice cream, then you should freeze the mixture in an airtight container for only 4 hours. We prefer to keep it overnight or at least 8 hours into the deep freezer. You should allow the strawberry ice cream to sit at a room temperature for 10 minutes to soften before serving. Optional: You can garnish it with dry fruits and nuts if desired. You can also use freshly chopped strawberries at the top for garnishing. We prefer our ice cream to be without any garnishing. Serve and enjoy!
