WHAT IS KVPY SCHOLARSHIP EXAM? KishoreVaigyanikProtsahanYojana is a scholarship examination which is conducted by IISc, Bengaluru, Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences, engineering and medicine. KVPY Eligibility Criteria • A student must be native to India. • KVPY will provide 3 streams to choose from. A student must select the field in which he/she is eligible. • For Stream SA, student must have cleared class 10th with at least 80% aggregate marks (70% for SC/ST/OBC) with Science and Mathematics as their major subjects. • For Stream SX, student have to quality class 12th with 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC) with Science subjects. The marks required are the same for class 10th. • For Stream SB, student who have scored 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC) in first year final examination to be eligible for KVPY. The marks required are the same for class 10th and 12th.

Application Fee For KVPY form • The application processing fee is Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PWD Category). • Candidates have an option to submit the fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking or Challan. NOTE: The KVPY Application Formonly issued through online mode. No application form will be issued via offline mode
KVPY Scholarship Exam Pattern • Date of Exam: The KVPY Exam held every year in November. • Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will be organized in online mode. • Duration: The duration of the exam will be three hours. • Language: The medium of the question paper will be English & Hindi language. • Type of Questions: It is a multiple choice question paper. • Papers: The question paper divided into two parts: PART I & PART II. • Marks: The question paper will be 100 marks.
