District Goals and Outcomesof Program • Seamless connection between new learning and what is expected on the job • Decision making and communication throughout courses • Using evidence to improve instruction • Understanding of curriculum and instruction specific to FUSD • Supporting classrooms through effective supervision • Knowledge of personnel and processes within FUSD
Unique Characteristics of this Program • Expedited- • Completion of preliminary Administrative Credential and Master’s Degree in 1 year • Modular Format- • 1 course completed in approximately 6 weeks • Instructors- • Combination of CSUF and FUSD staff • Materials /Programs Studied- • Specific to FUSD needs

How Were Participants Selected? • Recommendations by K-12 Principals and Department Heads • 182 were recommended • Informational Meetings • 116 FUSD employees attended • 96 expressed interest • Written Applications were Submitted • 62 applications received • Statement of Purpose • 4 Leadership questions • 3 letters of recommendation • Proof of credential and CBEST • Transcripts verifying a 2.75 GPA
