With Broadband…Video is an “Application” TV over IPIS NOT IPTV!: (One is absolute Freedom, the other is a platform for Telecom Operators to compete against Cable Operators) • In this new world, “Broadband” is our antenna. No longer do we have a need for spectrum or cable plants. Anybody can become a “TV Network” • Access to Video Tools have narrowed the gap between good and great.
With Broadband…Video is an “Application” • We are no longer dependents of Hollywood Studios, Cable or TV Networks. • Low production costs • Low development costs • All about disruptive technologies and the redefinition of an ecosystem All Helping to refine a new market space: MICE (Media, Internet, Communications, Entertainment)

Future: Publish/Subscribe Model • In the future, consumers will establish “publish/subscribe” models between content creators and themselves. Older content just available on demand regardless of geography. • Broadcast TV and Cable schedules become just another way to view content, but not the ONLY way. • This in turn accelerates the time shifting, place shifting of content.
