  3. EDUCATION • -Broad range of fields, well rounded • applicants with multidisciplinary backgrounds needed Ph.D. Not required for support positions • genetics, physiology, microbiology, entomology… • Any/every field can be utilized • internships or summer jobs

  4. Outlook of Employment/Employers • Not clear, still many opportunities: • Government,-FDA,EPA,USDA • Academia, –outreach programs • Chemical companies
