  2. Concept Attainment • Pathogens make people sick. • Pathogens live best in a neutral environment. • Pathogens do not live well in a acid environment. • What food environments are acidity and which are neutral

  3. Concept Attainment • The person seated at seat X go to the book shelf and get one plastic box for your table. • Put the Yes card on one side of the table. • Put the NO card on the other side of the table.

  4. Concept Attainment • As a group put foods that are high acidic by the Yes sign. • As a group put foods that are low acidic by the No sign. • Be prepared to defend your answers.

  5. Concept Attainment As a group put the items that are neutral by the Yes sign. As a group put the items that are NOT neutral by the not sign. Be prepared to defend your decisions.
