Most important food • I think it is nuts because they have them whenever they want them.

Clothing • They used willow bark for skirts, plants for a belt and the sandals were made from plants.
Clothing • Rabbit fur protected them from the cold weather.

MATERIALS The kumeyaays used: • Wood poles, mud, and fibrous rope. • They placed boughs going overlapping layers.
Most Important of All… • Fibrous rope was used to tie together the wooden poles that support the shelter.
