  2. “Viendo al Invisible” “Seeing Him who is invisible” • Introducción. A. Los hombres creen en lo que les “dicen” los cinco sentidos: ver, oír, gustar, oler, tocar. De otro modo muchos rehúsan creer. • Introduction. A. Men believe in what their five senses “tell” them: see, hear, taste, smell, touch. Otherwise many refuse to believe.

  3. “Viendo al Invisible” “Seeing Him who is invisible” • B. Pero los cristianos vivimos en otra dimensión: “por fe andamos, no por vista” (2 Cor. 5:7). Como Moisés tenemos que ver al Invisible (y cosas invisibles, 2 Cor 4:18). • B. But we Christians live in another dimen-sion: “we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Cor. 5:7). Like Moses we have to see Him who is invisible (and invisible things, 2 Cor. 4:18).

Isa. 6:5-8. • III. God is Spirit (Jn. 4:24) but He has manifested Himself to man: Exodus 33:9-11, pillar of cloud, pillar of fire (Num. 9:12). Isa. 6:5-8.

Paintings of Christ are wrong (tall, fair, made in our likeness; Jn. 4:9, ¿is there a painting of Jesus as a Jew?)

  28. “Viendo al Invisible” “Seeing Him who is invisible” • Los que no sirven a Dios porque no lo pueden ver, rehúsan ver al Invisible en la persona de Cristo. • Those who do not serve God because they cannot see Him, refuse to see Him who is invisible in person of Christ.

  29. “Viendo al Invisible” “Seeing Him who is invisible” • Debemos “ver” a Jesús en la asamblea, como Mat. 17:2; Ap. 1:14. “Huesped de Honor”. Nos observa (Ap. 2, 3), escudriña la mente, corazón (Ap. 2:23). • We should “see” Jesus in our assembly as in Matt. 17:2; Rev. 1:14, “eyes like a flame of fire” . As our Guest of honor! Observing us as in Rev. 2, 3. 2:23, “searches the minds and hearts.”

Debemos VER al Dios Invisible como lo hicieron Moisés, las parteras (Ex. 1:15-17), los héroes de la fe de Heb. 11, los apóstoles y cristianos del primer siglo. • Conclusion. We must SEE the Invisible God as did Moses, the midwives (Ex. 1:15-17), the heroes of faith of Heb. 11, the apostles and Christians of the first century.
