What is Data? Data is Information, • It can be in the form of numbers, words, pictures, digits. • It provides us with the facts. • By organising this information in different ways we can make it easier to read and answer questions and solve problems.
Success criteria for Today. By the end of the lesson you will have learnt how to organise data in two different ways, which make the data easy to read and will help you solve problems and answer questions quickly and easily.

Your first task. Using the information on the frequency table: Working in pairs, come up with three questions you could ask your partner and get your partner to give you the answers by reading the data.
