  1. Quip For Salesforce Whenever a person talks about the Quip For Salesforce then first question is arises in his mind i.e. What is Quip? Quip is a live document collaboration tool. It is like a fusion of Slack and Google docs reel into one. I have always felt that Google docs works surprisingly poorly on a mobile device and now I realise just how much of a problem this actually is. It is a first mobile collaboration tool that totally cease the need for email: no notifications, no sharing emails, nothing. Everything related to your Quip account is handled within the platform. What is a Quip document? It is a collaborative yield software suite for mobiles and the Web. It allows a lot of people to create and edit documents and spreadsheets as a group, typically for work purposes. Is Quip owned by Salesforce? Quip was born when Bret Taylor, the former CTO of Facebook and Kevin Gibbs, creator of Google’s app engine, realized that there was the common limitation to the current web application model: email. While web tools become more robust and even more comprehensive, they have yet to sever their reliance on the ever-cluttered, twentieth-century communication tool. Salesforce + Quip :- Quip and Salesforce publish several interesting integrations. Salesforce users can handle single sign-on with Quip, but companies are doing much more to develop Salesforce users’ workflow. A Quip lightning component is in the works, allowing fully functional Quip documents to be integrated perfectly with Salesforce applications. Quip documents also allow for “rich mentions” which dynamically pull the values from Salesforce. In that way you can easily add value from Salesforce into a document and changes made to that value in Salesforce are automatically get updated in the doc.
