Narrative • It starts with stairs that turn into a puzzle which makes it directly mystery as puzzles are always there to be solved • It turns into a montage which explains about the main characters to add on in the backround we can hear someone talking about what they have done and what they will do • after the montage it goes into a screen where a man is sitting and talking about the characters that were introduced which we then know it was his voice that explained the characters • All of this makes a lot of mystery for the audience, as it is the second movie people who watched the first one already know the characters but it still creates mystery as you don’t know what will happened and what the guy will do

3. Target audience • More younger people 16-30 but it can be discussed that the movie is quit complicated to understand which is already seen in the opening scene as the montage seems to show quit difficult images to understand so it might target older people who get what is happening • Its for female and male as the main characters have a balance between women and man

4. Genre • From the opening scene you could think its more drama or mystery not thriller • This is because it gives not really scary feelings its more confusing what is happening and what the montage is showing this might be only for people who haven’t watched the first one that’s why its not that clear • The colors are quit dark /red which connotes mystery darkness • Which common for thrillers are montage what we have in the opening scene

5. Characters • We get to know the main characters not in detailed as a single person but as a group and what they have done together. • This gives more details of who the film is gonna be about and tells directly that this are gonna be the main characters in the movie • At the end we get introduced to the guy in the screen who seems as well important as he tells about the characters and tells about him what they have done to him. • This gives the audience a better idea how the characters and what there doing • Overall we get introduced to quit a lot characters which gives the audience a lot of information

Key moments • Camera work • We get a zoom in from mid shot to close up • Which then results at the end to fanish in little stones This really focuson his emotion in his face • Sound • We have non diegetic sound of the man talking in the backround about the characters as well we he hear a backround music playing which sound intense • This gives the audience a feeling of listening to a podcast as he addresses the listeners

7. Key Moments • Editing • We have montage of different clips • This a key aspect for thrillers and builds interest to the audience as lots of things are shown • The camera looks like it flows with the clips which makes it easy to watch

Conclusion • Yes I think  it’s a good opening scene because its interesting for the audience to watch so they want to watch the whole movie  • Because of the good introducing of characters its easy to follow and easy to understand what the movie probably will be about  • What I really like it doesent give to much information about each character which gives the audience
