  1. ? ? Dress Well and Decent. You don’t need to wear a suit. A formal Shirt-Tie-Belt-Trouser-Boots combination will work well.

  2. ?Your confidence will build a good impression on the the Visa Officer. ?Remember, there is a thin line between confidence and over-confidence. Don’t let the VO think that you are arrogant. ?Follow the interview etiquettes, such as greeting the VO, sitting after permission, maintaining a good sitting posture, no fidgeting, etc.

  3. ?Questions related to studying abroad and not studying in your own country. ?Your knowledge about the education system and culture of the country, where you are going to study. ?Questions related to your choice of country, university, program, etc. ?Questions related to factual information related to your study, such as the deadlines, course of the program, university and the departments, address of the university and your residence, etc.

  4. ?Questions related to immigrant intent, such as your plans about returning to your own country after the completion of the course. ?Questions related to your financial conditions for your abroad education. ?Questions related to your plans after the completion of the programs.

  5. ?The Visa Officer will judge how well do you fare in the English Proficiency. ?You should be at least able to communicate well in English, as the mode of teaching and communication of the course will be English. ?You may be denied Visa, if you are not fluent in English, because that will lead to communication gap during your education.

  6. In order to assure the VO (Visa Officer) regarding your seriousness for your abroad education, you must be thorough with all the aspects of the same, such as the deadlines, financial involvements, necessary steps for admission, etc. Answer all the questions asked by the VO genuinely, and don’t try to fake the answers. Show the VO that you are serious and responsible about your higher education.
