  1. Importance of Good Mental Health Mental health issues, especially if they're chronic which means if they are persistent or recurring quite often, are not a good sign and can be very debilitating. A person’s body can respond physi- cally to mental health problems like anxiety or depression just like it does to any other physical illness. Sometimes, mental problems can even be caused by a physical condition that you don’t have any idea about. Thus, the first person to go to if you are facing a mental problem should be someone who offers counseling and psychological services. The doctor will look into your symptoms, their duration, and occurrence. This will help you de- cide the type of mental health problem you are facing and what would be the best therapy for you. There are so many anxiety and depression therapies available for people who are going through severe mental health problems. Anxiety and Depression Many people go through short periods of moderate anxiety. For example, before a public- speaking event or before taking an important exam. Someone who suffers from an anxiety disor- der experiences intense anxiety. This then starts to interfere with the person’s normal mental health functioning and occurs for around six months or maybe more in certain cases. However, if anxiety continues to occur, many people develop depression. This is because when we are not able to deal with the anxiety, it takes a toll on us, and feelings of hopelessness begin to emerge. Treatment of Mental Health Problems

  2. Psychologists successfully treat patients’ anxiety utilizing several empirically validated treat- ments (EVT). However, despite this, the optimal treatment for every patient varies because the cause of the anxiety and depression is different for everyone. As patients under go their treatment with the help of anxiety and depression therapy, the treatment approach is frequently changed. It depends on what is working in favor of that patient at that particular time. This is basically be- cause one treatment does not fit everyone when it comes to counseling and psychological ser- vices. Conclusion Mental-health problems should not be taken as a shame. It is just like any other physical problem which needs to be treated with the help of counselors and psychologists. Thus, you should never judge anyone going through a tough phase in their life. Anxiety and depression are those kinds of mental health traumas that occur sometimes even without making people realize that they are suffering from such problems. Thus, friends and family must always provide their full support and help these people come out of it positively.
