  1. Sweden has had peace for 207 years The text is obviously written at an angle to portray Sweden as a country negatively. It is easy to point out inaccuracies in objectivity. Sweden and Finland were from 1200 - 1809 a single country. Finland was the Eastern part of the country. In 1809, Sweden had lost Finland to Russia, which established a nation-state for itself, which in 1917 became an independent country. 800,000 or 10 million fictitious relationships with Swedes as a reason for connection to Finland's choice between Becoming Russia again or having a small chance of remaining independent became Finland's choice during World War II. If you compare Sweden and the USA when it comes to lethal violence with weapons, in Sweden you have to go back historically to the 18th century to reach the same kind of high number of murders as in the USA today. In the USA between 15,000 - 17,000 are killed per year and in Sweden approx. 110 people. The United States has five times more lethal violence than Sweden. 6
