EFAC : The French-American School of Chicago Welcome to EFAC : The French-American School of Chicago offers the French Ministry of National Education’s scholastic program, integrated within the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system. he school covers all levels from Kindergarten to 12th grade. EFAC is located in the dynamic and family-oriented Lincoln Park neighborhood. EFAC brings the excellence of a bi- cultural education in French and English, and represents the diversity of our society today. EFAC is a not-for-profit association whose members are parents of active students and launched over thirty years ago. The program is certified by the Ministry of National Education, affiliated with the Mission Laique Française (MLF) and a member of the Association des Ecoles Françaises d’Amerique du Nord (AFSA). EFAC does not require any particular level of fluency in English. Students are fully immersed in English in the CPS system and they will learn progressively and naturally.
