EGUSD covers 320 square miles and includes 67 schools: 42 elementary schools, nine middle schools, nine high schools, four alternative education schools, one charter school, a special education school, an adult school, and a (K-8) virtual academy.

Student Programs • Ensuring access to learning choices remains a steadfast priority for Elk Grove Unified School Districtand new prerequisites, registration enrollment and selection criteria are reviewed regularly to equitably and collaboratively engage more students and their families to access rigorous instruction with support for intellectual, social and emotional needs.
