Social links creator / light technical support for concerts Description Since 2004, the organisation Des Lendemains Qui Chantent defends an artistic and cultural project based on the promotion of contemporary music through all its components (amateur practice, professional artists, multiple aesthetics). Des Lendemains Qui Chantent tends is located in a rural area, promoting openness, self-fulfilment and solidarity. It is positioned in the field of social economy and solidarity, defending an associative project strongly tinged by an approach founded on humanist and democratic values. Volunteer’s task will be with her/his agreement : - promote the organisation and its events to the local youth - encourage local people to adhere to the organisation - create light ambiance and shows for Magic Hour events - technical help during and before events - help for the production of our festival and on concerts - create social links with different audiences by spending longer and qualitative times with them - participate in the daily life of Des Lendemains Qui Chantent - create events in order te develop the venue as a social life space Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The accomodation will be in Tulle, close to all amenities. Flat will be clean, adapted to his/her needs and eco-responsible. Volunteer will have furniture and roomate(s). They will be introduced to the city and all its cultural places. He or she will share a flat with another volunteer or with local people. Lead organisation will provide money due to food (10 euros per day). They will have bus subscription and a bike. We will also organise carpooling and they will have access to organisation’s car whenever they need it. Participant profile Des Lendemains qui Chantent is looking for someone sociable, easy going and self confident. The volunteer should have the will to talk and get to know any kind of audience. He or she should be live music lover and open to discover contemporary music and french or international bands. For this mission, french langage basis is a plus, french lessons will be provided. An interest for sciences or engineering would also be a plus. The volunteer should be open-minded and aware to ecology, anti-sexism and anti-racism.
