6 months of action • New name embracing the whole Channel! • New HQ in Bellevue! • New Executive Director – Kris Fuehr! • New website! • Newsletter going out in a rhythm! • Renewed our woes with Microsoft • PartnerPulse reports about the temperature in the channel • Monthly webcasts • Meeting in Brussels [200 members] for Europe • Meeting in Sao Paulo for Latin America • + zillions of Chapter meetings Worldwide!
What makes a Chapter great? • Written Bylaws • Paying members • Annual General Meeting (AGM) with Board elections • Full transparency to the members • In-person membership meetings every month • A well functioning local board with all roles assigned • IAMCP leading and Microsoft being part [not vice versa…]
Our Challenges • Better synchronization between USA and ”ROW” • Teething problems with website • Inconsistent Membership Experience… • Some Chapters do not charge membership fees • Some Chapters do not hold frequent membership meetings • Some Chapters need coaching in Board election • Lack of funding!
Our Strengths • Our brand is well recognized in many countries • Great relationship with Microsoft • We are the only WW partner association • Great HQ • Many Chapters are super great! • Having shown that IAMCP can change the mind of the EU Commission [Internet Explorer] • Passion for what we do!
Our Future • Better support for cross border partnering through IAMCP • Recognized as a trade association • Better helping members to flourish • Consistent membership experience Worldwide • Double our membership • Better value for membership
