What is a Fulfillment Center?
A fulfillment center is an industrial or warehouse-like building, with a large stock of goods to distribute to customers, retailers, or direct to customers. The main purpose of a fulfillment center is the distribution of goods to their ultimate customers. Most of the items that are distributed through a fulfillment center are not sold directly to the customer, but to warehouses where the items are stored before being shipped to their final destination. The goods are placed in a large warehouse until the customer purchases them.
