9. Development of the questionnaires Based on a literature and Internet search for existing questionnaires
These existing questionnaires were used to formulate new questions which can be used to compare PC systems

15. What can you expect? During the coming months invitations will be sent to GPs (random sample)
GPs are asked to fill in a questionnaires and have a fieldworker in their practice who invites 10 patients to fill in a questionnaire
16. Examples of hypotheses Process quality of PC services is positively associated with patient evaluations of PC quality;
The degree of the organisation of PC practices in combination with quality of the PC process is negatively associated with the incidence of avoidable hospitalisations;
