RAINFOREST &Grassland By: Katie Goedken (D104)
Sometimes the summers are so hot the grass catches on fire. The fires are very dangerous because they spread through the dry grass very quickly. Every year there is ten to thirty inches of rain during the winter. Some of the animals are lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, kangaroos, mice, and snakes. Tall grasslands have tall grass that can grow up to 5 feet tall. Grasslands are sometimes called prairies, savannahs, and steppes. Grassland
