  6. 1. Based on your entry in Assignment 1: Mind Map of Challenges, what divide strongly affects you? It is capable for me to choose the divide on emerging technologies that made affects me in a very big challenging issues towards the work and life. It is important to note that emerging technologies may change and evolve rapidly. However, some of the emerging technologies that could strongly affect school leaders in communication, teaching and learning, and resource divide are: (a) Education Technology Platforms: There are many educational software applications and platforms available that can help teachers create digital and interactive lesson plans, assessment tools, and communication systems; (b) Digital Divide and Inequity: As society becomes increasingly digital, the digital divide between students who have internet access and those who do not may cause significant inequity in education. School leaders need to ensure that all students have equal access to digital resources and technologies: (c) Cybersecurity: With the increasing use of technology in schools, cybersecurity has become a significant concern. School leaders need to ensure that they are safeguarding student data and systems from cyber-attacks; and (d) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML): AI can be used to personalize learning experiences for students, improve teacher training, and enhance administrative processes. ML can help teachers analyze data and make informed decisions about their instruction.

  7. 2. What would you do to have a better understanding of this divide? To have a better understanding of the emerging technology divide, I preferably take the following steps: 1. Conduct a technology audit: School leaders can review the technology infrastructure in the school to identify areas where technology is lacking. 2. Survey students: School leaders can survey students to understand their level of access to technology outside of school, including internet connectivity and devices like computers and tablets. 3. Engage with teachers: School leaders can engage with teachers to understand how they are incorporating technology into their lessons and identify areas where more support is needed. 4. Research best practices: School leaders can research best practices for addressing the technology divide and implement strategies that have been successful in other schools. 5. Seek community partnerships: School leaders can seek partnerships with community organizations to provide additional resources and support for students who lack access to technology. By taking these steps, school leaders can gain a better understanding of the technology divide and develop targeted strategies to close the gap and ensure that all students have equal access to technology resources and opportunities.

  8. 3. What is your vision to address this divide? Draw or post an image of this vision and provide a short description. My vision as school leader is to address the emerging technology divide may include creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment where all students have access to the same technological resources and opportunities. This would require investing in technology infrastructure and providing adequate training for teachers to effectively integrate technology into their lessons. As a school leader may also prioritize partnerships with community organizations and corporations to secure additional funding and resources for technology initiatives. Additionally, the leader may implement programs to teach digital literacy skills to students and families who may not have had access to technology before. In an overall, my vision as school leader is to address the technology divide would involve a commitment to equity, collaboration, and innovation to ensure that all students have equal access to the tools and skills needed to succeed in the 21st century. Short Description: As emerging technologies continue to shape our world, the digital divide between those who have access to these technologies and those who do not is becoming increasingly apparent. One particular area of concern is the divide in access to vision-related emerging technologies. Such as communication, Teaching and Learning skills development, and resources. This vision believes that process is interconnected in work to see easier using technologies. However, the system could be the challenges in the opportunity of the 21st century when one thing is not realized investing for innovative education.

  9. 4. What changes do you need to initiate to attain your vision of change? The changes that I will need to initiate to attain my vision for change will depend on the specific goals and objectives of the vision. However, some general changes that may be considered include: 1. Establishing a clear set of priorities and goals: A school leader must have a well-defined vision and strategic plan in order to bring about any meaningful change. 2. Building a strong team: A leader needs to surround themselves with a committed team who share the same vision and are willing to work towards it. 3. Promoting a culture of collaboration: Successful leaders foster a collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute their ideas and feedback. 4. Investing in professional development: A leader should provide opportunities for staff to improve their skills and knowledge so they can better support student learning. 5. Emphasizing accountability: To ensure progress towards the vision, a leader should establish clear metrics for measuring success and hold themselves and others accountable for meeting those standards. 6. Encouraging innovation: A leader should encourage creative thinking and experimentation in order to find new and effective approaches to teaching and learning. 7. Engaging with stakeholders: Success depends on building strong relationships with parents, students, and community members, and seeking their input and involvement in decision-making processes.
