  2. 01: There are many instances where women have played an important role in the wine making businesses in Australia. Whether it is the role of wine-makers, running a winery or simply working in the fields, women are playing a critical part. One of the success stories in winery business is that of the Bremerton Wines, a business led by two siblings of steely calibre- Rebecca and Lucy Willson. Both of them are the finalists in the 2018 EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards. They are among the 15 from South Australia state.

  3. 02: Bremerton wines has been established in 1988 in the Langhorne Creek area of Australia which is a part of the Fleurieu region within the state of South Australia. The region lies close to the Bremer and Angas Rivers. A 290 acre vineyard has been planted with varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdelho, Petit Verdot and Chardonnay. Bremerton wines is a 5- star rated winery by James Halliday, the most famous wine critic of Australia.

  4. 03: The best fruit from the vineyard is also complimented with those of the other grape growers. The idea is to develop full bodied, full flavoured wines that have consistency. Bremerton wines have also invested in the premium French and American oak barriques in order to ensure that the oak influences are subtle. The winery makes use of the traditional open top fermenters. In order to ensure that consistently quality wines are made, the winery has also incorporated a modern test lab. This is used for a number of purposes. Besides, it also has a tasting facility which is used for wine tasting events.

  5. 04: In all, the winery has come a long way since its inception and has become one of the most renowned names in Australian wine industry. The wines produced by it come in different ranges and with different label names. The most expensive wines can be a couple of hundred dollars for a single bottle. The winery also has a cellar door which is used for having wine along with good food in totally astonishing but relaxing ambience.
