Why Women? • Just over a MILLION women are now self employed – an increase of around 10% over the last 4 years • Women-owned or led businesses currently contribute about £60bn to the UK economy • Women in Britain will be wealthier than men - controlling 60% of the nation’s wealth by 2025 • Women influence over 80% of all consumer purchases
