GOOD ORAL HEALTH • Prevents periodontal disease • Reduces dental caries • Poor Oral health has been related to: • Septic arthritis • Coronary artery disease
IMPROVE ORAL HEALTH • Diet • Tooth brushing • Fluoride • Dental examinations
Antibiotics +/- antibacterial mouthwash Tooth brushing
SEVERE & MODERATE All treatment in the hospital except for prosthodontics. MILD & CARRIERS Treatment shared with GDP. Patient reviewed at the hospital every 2 years. PATIENT GROUPS
