Checklist For Tenants There are a lot of things one must consider before renting a home such as budget, number of rooms, amenities etc. The best way to ensure that everything is on-point is to make a checklist. Here we have listed certain things that tenants must keep a check on before renting a house. Do the rental home research on various online MLS listings or hire a real estate agent. Pay the rent through card or bank account instead of cash as this will work as a proof of your payment. Always read the entire lease agreement and know what your rights are, before signing it. Talk to neighbors to get more information regarding the neighborhood. Check whether all safety equipments of the house are in order or not. Look for any kind of bug infestation in the house before moving in. Make sure to include additional expenses (if any) in your monthly budget before renting a home.
