This week, we finally resolved two ongoing Title IX cases at two different colleges and universities. In both cases, we advocated for the victims of sexual assaults. After listening to our clientsu2019 stories and then investigating the facts thoroughly to satisfy ourselves that a violation had occurred and the evidence supported it, we assisted each student in preparing his and her complaints, statements and participation in the investigations.

TWO MORE TITLE IX VICTORIES This week, we finally resolved two ongoing Title IX cases at two different colleges and universities. In both cases, we advocated for the victims of sexual assaults. After listening to our clients’ stories and then investigating the facts thoroughly to satisfy ourselves that a violation had occurred and the evidence supported it, we assisted each student in preparing his and her complaints, statements and participation in the investigations. Both cases went to hearing and both hearings found in favor of our clients. In one of these cases, we proved that a female student sexually assaulted a male student – something that rarely gets reported or adjudicated on campus. If you have a student who is a participant in a college or university Title IX investigation, urge them to speak with us immediately. That student’s experience throughout the investigation and the result of the adjudication can be significantly affected by his or her advocate.
