  1. NSF Summer Research Opportunity in Spain in Chemical Ecology • Bucknell University in collaboration with theNational Science Foundation and the University of Cádiz is hosting a new summer International NSF REU site. Eight students will be selected from a national pool to participate in one of two labs in the area of Chemical ecology. • Allelopathy group, students will isolate, identify and quantify secondary metabolites from Antarctic lichens. • Marine Natural Products group, students will isolate, identify, and quantify metabolites from marine organisms endemic to the Bay of Cádiz and the straits of Gibraltar.
